English teacher - September

  • Full time English teaching position across KS3 and GCSE
  • Pay ranging from £95-£150 per day
  • Excellent opportunities for career progression

English teacher required for our client school in Stockport after a recent departure within their English department. This is a full time English teaching position across KS3 and KS4 with the successful teacher of English being expected to willingly undertake regular planning, marking and student assessment.

Expectations are high within the English department but you will be provided with regular ongoing support by a senior leadership team and Head of English. This is an excellent opportunity for an English teacher looking to work with high achieving students who achieve well above the national averages with 67% achieving a grade C or better in English.

Situated in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school is located just off the A523 and has public transport routes close by. The school is well known for upskilling staff through regular training, CPD courses and progression opportunities. This would be well suited to an English NQT looking for career development or an experienced English teacher looking for additional responsibility to full class English teaching.
