Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a larger than average secondary school looking to appoint a teacher in the new academic year to deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English. 

The incoming English Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. You will engage in the planning and marking and encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject.

  • Full-time English Teacher 
  • Starting September 2021 - temporary post with the view to become permanent
  • Pay in line with pay scale MPS/UPS 
  • Teaching a full English timetable across KS3 and GCSE
  • Modern secondary school with a supportive Senior Leadership Team.
  • School located in the heart of Bury (BL9)
  • Post available to English Teachers of all levels - PGCE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
