English Teacher

A school in Manchester is looking for a motivated English teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis. It is essential that the required applicant:

• Holds QTS.
• Is educated to degree level (in English or a related subject)
• Has experience in the delivery of English lessons across KS3 and KS4. A-Level experience is very desirable.

The role will focus on:

• Delivering high quality lessons, as well as managing student workloads and implementing strategies designed to engage pupils.
• Working with support staff to best identify pupils who may require additional support within the subject.
• Working with students with SEN, and understanding the difficulties that these students may commonly face when manging the learning process.
• Understanding the difficulties that children requiring EAL support may face when working within the mainstream process.
• Experience in teaching both English Literature and English Language. 

PAY: GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per year, based on previous experience.

The role will begin in September 2020.

• Located in Manchester, the school is a short distance from Manchester city centre.
