- Very competitive rates of pay (between £150 - 180 per day) subject to references and experience
Required for an January start is a qualified English teacher for this high achieving South West London secondary school in Wimbledon. You will be joining a well resourced department, who achieved an 80% GCSE pass rate (A*-C) in English in last academic year. Working within a large and friendly department you will be given full support, subject specific CPD opportunities and a friendly teaching environment.
Located in Wimbledon, this is an average sized school with around 1000 pupils on roll. Last graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted this is an improving and consistently high achieving school with respectful pupils who are eager to learn and achieve their potential.
To be considered for this English teaching role you will need to be/have:
*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in English
*Experience teaching English across KS3/4
*A passion for teaching your subject and achieving results
The school is easily accessible via Wimbledon station. The English department are looking to interview any suitable English teachers straight away so do not hesitate to apply; you will have a lesson observation and formal interview with the head of department.
