Location: Kettering
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive school in Kettering. In this role, you’ll support children with a range of special educational needs, both in and outside of the classroom, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
-
Assist during lessons, break times, and lunch
-
Support the class teacher with day-to-day activities
-
Help maintain a safe and organised classroom
-
Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all pupils
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in a school setting is not essential – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are enthusiastic about working with children.
The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience with SEN children (preferred, not essential)

Be patient, reliable, and committed
-
Show initiative and a proactive approach
-
Have (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
-
Hold permanent UK residency (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
