Teachers & Teaching Assistants

Location: Northampton
Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Dependent on experience

Non-teaching jobs

  • Careers Advisor

Your Role Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs.
  • Supporting pupils to make meaningful academic and personal progress.
  • Providing regular assessment and feedback in line with school policies.
  • Managing behaviour in a calm, consistent, and positive manner.
  • Developing strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Taking part in school activities and events as required.

Expected to have:

  • QTS or a degree (for teaching)
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN. (NOT a requirement if you have a qualification in the above subjects)
  • Teaching assistants must have previous experience
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and ICT skills.
  • A calm, patient, and compassionate approach.
  • Commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding.

Safer Recruitment Requirements:

Applicants must be willing to undergo:

  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (Or willing to apply through us)
  • Two professional references from the last 2 years.
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for those who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
