Do you have a PGCE or equivalent in secondary English? Are you looking for a new opportunity in Octoner 2016? A mixed 11-18 secondary school in the outskirts of North Croydon has the requirement for an English teacher in the new academic year. You will ideally be looking for a role with responsibility that or a lead teaching role within the English department.
The school has made significant progress this academic year and a higher than average number of children achieve 3 expected levels or progress or above in English and also Maths. The incoming English teacher will be joining a department facilitated by modern and state of the art facilities, you will need to be fully supportive of the schools ethos. The school can offer you:
*A 1 year contract with a view to becoming permanent
*Extensive support and CPD opportunities within English
*The platform to become an outstanding English teacher
The head teacher is looking for an English teacher with:
* Qualified teacher status specialising in English
* Extensive experience teaching English to GCSE
* The ability to progress in an improving department
