English Teacher required for a well-known secondary school in Berkshire!

About the school

This school is a 13-19 school which seeks to retain the best of a traditional ethos based upon over 100 years of achievement, with a modern, forward-thinking approach that prepares young men for success in the 21st century.

The school provide students with a variety of challenging opportunities for learning, development and growth. The schools successes will be measured both by first-class examination results and also the extent to which we provide an environment in which students are happy and can flourish.

The schools curriculum is broad and balanced offering learning across the full range of subjects, and personalised appropriately to meet individual needs. At A level a very wide range of academic and vocational subjects are successfully delivered, with 30% of grades at A and A*. There have always been high rates of university entrance. The GCSE results are strong and consistently above the national average.

Transport

There are fantastic transport links around the school with the closest train station being in the heart of Windsor also it is easily commutable by busses running from Slough bus station.
