The large secondary school want to recruit for a fantastic English teacher who can create engaging and innovative lessons to motivate and challenge the students. It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate strong behaviour and classroom management so experience within a classroom is a must. We welcome candidates from experienced backgrounds but also welcome NQTs. For an NQT, this would be the ideal role as the school will offer you outstanding support and the mentoring you need to help you through your NQT year in becoming an Outstanding English teacher.

Overview

• Ensure lesson plans are produced to meet established school and national curriculum models
• Provide a safe, secure and positive environment for students
• Adapt the national curriculum to fit student needs whilst maintaining overall class progress
• Preparation of classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, handouts and setting assessments to challenge students.
• NQTs welcome
