Opportunity for an English teacher to join a successful English department at a Secondary school in the Altrincham area. The school are seeking to recruit an inspirational English teacher who has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students. The school places a heavy emphasis on the development of Literacy and are therefore looking for an English teacher that can have a positive impact on students from the offset. If you have previously provided intervention or worked with students on revision/resits, then this role would suit you ideally. This role is to start in January for the remainder of the academic year.

Highlights of this English teaching position:

  • Pay ranging between £110 - £140 per day
  • Full time English teaching position: intervention specialist
  • Applications welcome from teachers of all experience levels (NQTs and RQTs)
  • Pay dependent on experience and in line with pay scale

The school are looking for a successful teacher who has had experience teaching across the curriculum and can work with students from all backgrounds. The school has a very supportive department with leadership being noted as particularly supportive and moving the right direction.

The school is situated in the Altrincham area, easily accessible via local public transport. Additionally, the school is well serviced via the M60 ring road and M56 motorway.
