We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in Bishop Auckland. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage in their development, working alongside a dedicated and supportive staff team.

About the Role

As an HLTA in EYFS, you will:

• Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes

• Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment

• Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development

• Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience

• Have recent experience working within EYFS

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development

• Be proactive, flexible, and able to use initiative

• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
