Are you an English graduate looking to secure a fixed term position within a secondary school working as an English teaching assistant?

Due to an upcoming requirement in their English department, our client school just out of Manchester city centre would like to appoint a skilled English graduate to join them and work as an English teaching assistant for the duration of this academic year.

Working as an English teaching assistant at our client school will provide you with the necessary experience to enhance your teacher training application and ensure you start your career in education the best possible way.

Whilst working as an English teaching assistant, you will use your English graduate level knowledge to help facilitate the learning of students, specifically in English language and literature lessons, as well as helping students with low levels of literacy. The position will entail supporting teaching staff in the delivery of lessons and ensuring students are focused, as well as working in small group settings for revision and booster sessions.
