English / Drama teacher - SEN School (Primary Site)
A large SEN school, with a Primary and Secondary site, based in Bromley are looking for a lively English /Drama teacher to join their team after the February half term.
This position will last up until the end of the academic year in the first instance, although this may be extended into the next academic year dependent on your performance.

- You will be teaching across Key stage 1 and 2 level. Classes are made up of 10 students maximum, with mixed Autism / SEMH needs.

- Your role entails planning /preparing lessons, marking work and tracking progress.
- You would be required to teach communication sessions, physical education sessions, sensory development sessions and a variety of other lessons that are accessible by the students.
- You would be supported by a HLTA and three teaching assistants who know the students well and will help you get up to speed with them quickly.
- There is on site parking.
- Pay is processed on a weekly basis - you are paid every Friday.
We offer a range of training courses once you are cleared to work with us, which are either free or at a reduced cost. You will also have a dedicated SEN consultant working with you, ensuring that you are happy in your new position. The school can also offer regular INSET training days and plenty of preparation and planning time as the students don't arrive until 09:00am and leave in the afternoon at 2:15pm.
To apply for this position you will need to have QTS in the UK, and previous experience of teaching children with special needs. You must also be able to provide references from your previous employment.
Please apply within or contact us on 02075933070 to apply for this role or for further information. If you are shortlisted you will be expected to attend a face-to-face interview.
