We have an exciting role that incorporates both the skills of a Support Worker and those of a learning support assistant. This particular school provide pupils with a holistic education within a safe, secure and well-supported environment.  Their curriculum gives equal attention to the physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs of each pupil, and is designed to work in harmony with the different phases of child development. Your role as a support worker will be key in helping young people with complex needs take steps to fulfilling their full potential. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results.

A successful Support Worker……

  • You should possess an enthusiasm for empowering individuals
  • Experience with SEN students is ideal however not essential
  • Able to demonstrate effective communication with children with disabilities 
  • Must show patience, enthusiasm and be committed
  • Passionate or an interest in SEN and Physical Disabilities 
  • Must posses a TEAM TEACH qualification (or willing to be upskilled)
  • Proactive and happy to self direct
  • Possess good behaviour management skills

We do not ask for set qualifications to start you on your journey, as long as you have a passion for making a difference, then we will give you all the tools you will need to excel and start a fulfilling career.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
