Education Support Worker

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the Truro area that are looking to recruit for 2x positions:

- 1x part time 1-2-1 Behaviour support teaching assistant

- 1x full time position Secondary support staff member

- Both positions are small group support/mixed subjects and promoting inclusive learning and positive support

The listed roles with have the expectation from candidates applying to have experience in the below listed areas:

- Autism support/Emotional Behavioural Difficulties

- Youth work or support work with experience in dealing with challenging young people/ often with complex needs

- Experienced and trained in a positive handling program such as: MAPA,PBM or TEAM TEACH

- Good levels of English, maths and science in order to support with lessons

(Minimum requirements Level 3 or equivalent)
