Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
An outstanding co-educational independent school are currently looking for an Economics teacher to join them from September 2019.
We are ideally looking to recruit a Teacher of Economics. However we are also open to taking on an NQT, a recent graduate looking to do a PGCE, or a Teaching Fellow on a one or two fixed term contract.
We would also be open to a teacher of Politics, or a teacher of PPE, who has the subject knowledge and skills to teach economics.
The economics department is currently made up of 3 full time members of staff. It is an active and busy department where staff have high expectations of pupils and themselves. The subject is very popular at 6th form and they constantly achieve higher than national average grades year on year.
The school follow the Edexel exam board so knowledge of the curriculum is preferred but not essential.
The school currently offers a very supportive package for the right teacher. There a lot of CPD opportunities and with plans for expansion and building renovations this is an exciting time to join such an amazing school.
If you are looking for a new role please send your CV to the below contact details.
