The Job Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The School is a Special Needs EYFS to Sixth Form School, so you will be supporting a range of age groups. With small class sizes of up to 8, it will give you the change to deliver pre planned intervention sessions, such as Phonics and work on a 1:1 basis engaging students into interactive lessons. The School has a Multi Sensory and Nurture room, to help students in crisis and develop their motor neuron skills. 

Ideal Candidate Desirables:

• Level 2 or above qualified Teaching Assistant, or 6 months experience in a Special Needs setting
• Experience supporting Early Years students and the EYFS National Curriculum
• Knowledge and hands on experience of supporting students with a range of needs, such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
• Dedication and passion to support vulnerable students 
• Available from Easter 2020
• Enthusiastic, charismatic and creative are key skills in this job role!
