Are you an Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Have you got experience working in nursery settings but are looking to transition over into a main stream schools? Are you available from September on a full time basis? If the answer is YES, we want to hear fromyou!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a client primary school in the Heaton Moor area of Stockport (SK4) who are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis starting in the new academic year. To be considered for this position, applicants will have experience supporting learning across the EYFS and will have a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the 'Letters & Sounds Phonics Scheme'.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who can work effectively with children to identify next steps for learning. To be considered for this role, you will be comfortable taking small groups for targeted interventions sessions and will be confident in working with children on a 1:1 basis.

The position is to work at a larger than average, 3 form entry primary school. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with a hard working attitude and a good sense of humour. Only candidates with experience in the EYFS will be considered. This position will start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year.

To be considered you will:

  • Have experience working across the EYFS
  • Will be comfortable and confident with the EYFS curriculum
  • Be available on a FULL TIME basis in September
