We at Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a KS1 Teacher for a nurturing and innovative school situated in the Ely Newmarket area. The vacancy is for a KS1 teacher (3 days a week Monday- Wednesday). This role is the result of a member of the team being promoted to SLT and is needed from September 2020. This school is a 2 form entry setting and educates mixed ability learners including SEN. This is a great opportunity open to NQT's and experienced teachers.

The role would include but may not be limited to:

  • Upholding the vision and values of the school at all times
  • Monitoring the progress and development of the pupils
  • Delivering energetic and well-structured lessons which will be engaging for all pupils
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety throughout the school
  • Setting up and maintaining your classroom to the highest standards
  • Attending/organising school extra curricular activities
  • Attending parents evening 
  • Behavioural/classroom management
All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
  • ● Qualified Teacher Status
  • ● Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
  • ● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
  • ● Previous experience with Year 6 testing
  • ● Eligibility to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
