Location: Primary School in Blackpool
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Contract: Long-term maternity cover – Full academic year

Teaching Personnel are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and nurturing Primary School seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This long-term role will begin on Monday 13th April 2026 and will continue for a full year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Early Years provision, ensuring children receive the very best start to their education. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum lessons
• Creating a stimulating, supportive and child-centred learning environment
• Tracking and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS frameworks
• Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

The Ideal Educator Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification
• Have strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development
• Be committed to creating meaningful learning experiences
• Show warmth, patience and an engaging approach to teaching
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
