EYFS Teaching Assistant – Blackpool (FY1)

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a warm and supportive Primary School in Blackpool who are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after February half term.
About the Role:
This is a general TA position within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children across the EYFS setting to access learning.
- Delivering targeted interventions to help pupils progress in early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Providing 1:1 support for children who may require additional guidance or personalised attention.
- Assisting with classroom preparation, play‑based learning, and continuous provision.
- Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working within EYFS or early primary settings.
- Be nurturing, patient, and passionate about Early Years development.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to follow the EYFS framework.
- Show initiative and confidence when delivering early interventions.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
