Early Years SEN Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for SEN Teachers to provide personalised education and support to students with a range of special educational and mental health needs. Unqualified teachers will be considered!
- Primary SEN Teacher (Qualified or unqualified) - Early Years & KS1
- East London & Essex locations (E13, RM6, IG3)
- Immediate start
- Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 3:30PM
- Paid to Scale - M1 - UPS3 (PAYE)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students
- All classes have an abundance of support (3-4 support staff at a time)
- Using various teaching strategies and resources to ensure students are engaged in their learning
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure student’s progress & well-being
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional development of students
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualities:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
