A larger than average Catholic Primary School and Nursery in South Liverpool who are proud to serve their local community are looking for our support to recruit an experienced SEN / EYFS Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
About the role:
The school are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants for September 2019 to work on 1:1 basis with children to support inclusion, academic and independence based learning goals. Full and on-going training will be provided throughout the time in post.
The desirable candidate will have experience supporting children with mild / severe autism and will be able to demonstrate deescalation strategies to manage and calm pupils who can sometimes demonstrate challenging behaviour.
There is an opportunity for full or part-time hours for this role, as the school are open to discuss a job share option. If you think you have the suitable experience for this role, have a child workforce DBS or be prepaid to apply for one and for it to be registered on the update service. You must also have 2 referees and a six year career history.
