Early Years Educator
Job description
EYFS EDUCATOR – BURY
Looking for your next chapter in Early Years? A warm, welcoming school in Bury is searching for an EYFS‑qualified educator who knows how to bring the Early Years Framework to life with energy, creativity and purpose.
Think of this role as the heartbeat of the classroom: you’ll be shaping routines, supporting learning through play, building secure relationships and creating a joyful, structured environment where the youngest learners can flourish.
What you’ll be doing:
– Facilitating child‑led and adult‑led activities that spark curiosity and support developmental milestones
– Observing, assessing and recording progress in line with EYFS requirements
– Creating purposeful play opportunities that underpin language, social skills, numeracy and motor development
– Supporting children with varying needs, adapting tasks and environments where necessary
– Collaborating with teachers and support staff to plan engaging provision across indoor and outdoor areas
– Communicating positively with parents and carers, sharing successes and next steps
– Contributing to a safe, nurturing learning space that encourages independence, confidence and exploration
The school offers full‑time hours, a supportive team culture and the chance to make a genuine impact during the most formative stage of a child’s education.
If you’re EYFS‑qualified, enthusiastic and ready to bring your best every day—this may be the opportunity for you.
