Teaching personnel are currently working closely with a Manchester primary school in the M14 area. The bury school is looking to recruit a teaching assistant for the early years department. The role would require you to support the children on a small group basis with the occasional 1:1
school has received the rating "outstanding" in their most recent OFSTED report and is said to offer all the pupils a caring and secure environment in which to learn. The pupils are a credit to the school and their behaviour at all times is excellent. Learning attitudes in class are very positive. Pupils feel safe.
The role will involve working with new children from various backgrounds as the school is looking to give them the best chance of succeeding. The role poses unique challenges as many of the children you will be working with will not speak English as a first language (EAL) on top of that you will also be working with children with 'looked after' backgrounds (LAC)
Having previous early years experience within a primary school or nursery is desirable. Being comfortable with visual learning styles that will suit the early years is key.

The school is looking to recruit the early years teaching assistant after the Easter break so will be looking to conduct trial days ASAP.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
