Job description

EAL specialist TA required to support learning across Key Stage 2

  • Flexible hours across 3 or 4 days a week
  • Work within a larger than average Primary in South Sheffield
  • A great opportunity to make a real difference to the student's learning

This larger than average primary in the south of Sheffield are seeking a TA with previous experience of having worked with EAL learners. Learners speak a variety of languages including Urdu, Punjabi and Polish. Knowledge of these languages is beneficial but not essential. The successful candidate will be required to work one to one and with small groups of students to improve their English. Previous experience of using phonics would also be an advantage.
