Design Technology teacher (Northampton)

Are you a Design Technology teacher seeking a new position? Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school based in central Northampton who is seeking a teacher of design technology to join them after Easter on a full time basis until the end of the academic year.

The school:

At Key Stage 3 and 4 a progressive curriculum is provided across the core subjects, with a focus on crime science integrated throughout the school. The IQM Centre of Excellence award was also accredited to the school recently.

The role:

The role will involve teaching mainly Product/Graphic design to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students. There may be other Design Technology elements involved in the timetable. You will be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons which are accessible to all learning styles. The ideal candidate will be competently monitoring student results to ensure suitable progress is made. You must have outstanding behaviour management skills and be enthusiastic about supporting young people.
