Are you a Drama Teacher looking for a new challenge? Can you teach Drama to GCSE and/or A-level?Are you a Drama Teacher who lives in the Yorkshire Coast? Do you hold QTS Status (Qualified Teacher of Drama) and recent experience of delivering the UK Drama curriculum to GCSE or A-level? This could be the opportunity for you!

I am recruiting Drama Teachers to join our team of supply teachers. Due to an increase in demand, our client Secondary Schools are looking for Drama Teachers who are able to deliver Drama on an ad-hoc supply basis (day-to-day), as well as for full-time/part-time long-term cover requirements (such as maternity cover, sickness absence, etc.).

The role will involve working on a day-to-day supply basis, delivering Drama and some other subjects if required. This will give you the opportunity of experiencing different Secondary Schools in the area before committing to a long-term position as a Drama Teacher when it arises.

To be considered for the position of Drama Teacher you must:

  • Have experience teaching Drama in Secondary Schools and/or Colleges
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) with a specialism in Drama
  • Have a genuine desire to make a difference and contribute to the learning for Secondary Schools pupils
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring Drama lessons

  • Access to CPD such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness and Moving and Handling qualifications
  • Full compliance with AWR (Agency Worker Regulations) to make sure you get paid what you deserve
