Job description

Job Title: Drama & Music Teacher

Location: Corby, East Midlands, Northamptonshire

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

 

Salary & Benefits:

  • M1 – UPS3 (£30,000.00 – £46,525.00) depending on experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging drama and music lessons to students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama or Music
  • Experience teaching drama and music in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of drama and music curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Drama or Music Education
  • Experience in directing school productions or musical performances

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment with regular school hours
  • Potential involvement in school events and performances outside regular hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
