Design and Technology (DT) Teacher - Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a well-established school near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, to seek an experienced Design and Technology (DT) Teacher. This is a long-term position, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The welcoming secondary school seeks a well-motivated NQT, FQT or OTT, who is passionate about Design and Technology (DT) and has experience of teaching GCSE students. The school aims to prepare pupils for adult life and believes that learning also goes beyond the classroom and aims for all students to develop new skills and friendships through the huge range of additional activities and extra-curricular visits they offer.

For this position, you will be teaching GCSE Design and Technology to pupils aged 11-16 years.

Essential

To apply for this role, you must have experience of:

• Working in a Design and Technology (DT) department
• Checking and maintaining the quality of equipment
• Adhering to the Health and Safety policies
• Teaching Design and Technology to GCSE level
• Own transport or reliable lift, due to the location of the school

Desirable

• An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
• QTS
