Daily Secondary supply teachers needed for busy start in Sept!

If you are currently registered with an agency but not getting as much work as you would like, get in touch now! Are you a Qualified Teacher (secondary) looking for supply work in the coming terms? Do you work as a current Supply Teacher in schools in Leeds? Teaching Personnel Leeds Bradford secondary branch work with schools across West Yorkshire and have an ever increasing number of requests for casual and daily Supply Teachers from our client schools. I am especially looking for Supply Teachers with good classroom management skills!

Whether you are new to the profession and looking for an introduction to different schools, or an experienced teacher taking a break from permanent employment, working as a supply teacher is a great way to network with education professionals, secure contacts in schools that suit you and work when you are available around circumstances.

  • Lead the classroom - deliver pre-planned work
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively - referring to the school behaviour policy
  • Keeping the classroom tidy and reporting back to senior leadership
  • Assisting with other teachers to help support and promote positive learning throughout

These large Leeds Secondary Schools are thriving environments with lots going on, at all times! The Head Teachers in these schools have made it very clear supply is very important, and strong behaviour management is needed. You could be working across a range of different settings and subjects but it will give you the opportunity to see many departments in the school.

To be considered as a Supply Teacher in these school you will have:

  • Experience leading and delivering planned work to groups of children aged 11 +
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A calm and punctual manner - excellent time keeping

You must have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
