Cover Teacher – Immediate Start

Location: Raunds, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Full-time | Temporary (with potential for extension or permanent placement)


We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Teacher to join a welcoming school in Raunds. You will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and follow the planned work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or anyone with classroom experience looking to make a positive impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required)

  • Maintain a positive and focused learning environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress


Requirements:

  • Previous classroom or education experience preferred

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

  • Available for an immediate start

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
