Job Advert: KS1 Teacher Needed – Immediate Start
Location: Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing / Potential Long-Term
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a confident classroom practitioner with a passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Key Stage 1.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
-
Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records
-
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
-
Support the wider school community and uphold school values
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching in a KS1 classroom
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A creative and reflective approach to teaching
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
