  • Are you looking for an Introduction to Teaching?
  • Do you have the confidence to stand and deliver work to a class of pupils?
  • Are you thinking about going on to a PGCE in the near future?
  • How would you like to be involved in Teaching without the pressures of planning and preparing work?

I am currently working along side a number of schools in Nottingham that are currently looking to increase their pool of suitable Cover Supervisors.

The Cover Supervisor role will:

  • Support multiple schools where there are teachers absent due to sickness, course cover or external days out.
  • The role has a level of flexibility and can be a perfect option if you are looking for full time or part time work within a school setting.

The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure the pupils are firstly engaged with the lesson that has been set and also that classroom behaviour is managed throughout the lesson. For this role there is no planning required prior to supervising the classes as pre-work will have been set for the pupils by the teacher.

People who have been successful in this role previously have come from supervisory backgrounds such as sports coaches, experienced teaching assistants, ex public services & future teachers with a passion for education.

This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is currently looking to apply for a PGCE and gain classroom experience or those who have been accepted on to the 2019/20 PGCE.

  • Graduates welcome to apply
  • Sports Coaches, Ex Forces, Youth workers also encouraged to apply
  • Competitive Rates of Pay from £57 - £70 per day
  • Flexible working patterns- Full or Part Time
  • Great experience for future Teachers

What you will need to apply for this role:

  • Outstanding support package within school
