Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary School in Salford, providing them with Cover Supervisors throughout the academic year. A Cover Supervisor role is perfect for individuals whose circumstances can change on a daily basis and therefore, require flexible work. This position is also perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible work alongside an ongoing course or another role.

To work as a Cover Supervisor in our client school, you must meet the following application requirements:

• Any transferrable experience with children/young people is required.
• Experience with challenging behaviour or SEN is also desirable as these skills will be highly transferrable.

Working as a Cover Supervisor in our client school will involve covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers alongside, covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

It will also be important for the candidate to be confident in assessing and evaluating pupils' progress in the absence of the teacher and being able to report this back efficiently for their return. Our client school does contain some pupils who can display challenging behaviour and therefore, the chosen candidate will be expected to manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed by pupils.

Our client school is located in Salford and can be accessed via the A580 and M60 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton and Bury. For non-drivers, schools are accessible via several public transportation links from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Bury and central Manchester.
