Are you confident presenting to groups of young people?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with Secondary Schools across Harrogate who are looking to appoint Cover Supervisors. As a Cover Supervisor you will be joining a school with a supportive staff team that provides opportunities for development via their regular CPD courses. An ideal candidate will be confident in delivering lessons to up to 30 students and display positive behaviour management techniques.
Requirements and responsibilities
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting
- Earning up to £1200 per month
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to groups of 30-35 students
- Be confident in implementing schools behaviour policies
- Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Fantastic opportunity to increase future teacher training applications
This work varies from casual day to day placements ideal for a flexible working life, to more fixed term placements providing you with that fast introduction to a school that suits you. Working as a cover supervisor will give you first hand experience of delivering lessons and managing behaviour in the absence of teachers.
