A school close to the Nottingham city centre is looking for an experienced cover supervisor who is able to provide cross curricular cover supervision teaching across KS3 AND KS4. The ideal candidate will have a degree and at least 3 months experience covering classes in Secondary schools. All graduates are encouraging to apply for this position, however, there is a particular demand for English and Maths graduates.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about working in a school and be flexible towards the schools needs and requirements. Your main job will be to manage full classes, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. As a cover supervisor you will need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be adaptable and resilient.
To be considered you must:
- Have school experience (mentoring, teaching assistant, lecturing)
- Be available for day to day and long term positions
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Be a recent graduate looking to continue your development within the education sector
