Join a vibrant school in South Manchester seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a full-time temporary basis from the end of February.

As a cover supervisor, you will be covering lessons in the sort term absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared work and activities to classes across a range of year groups and abilities. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour appropriately, in line with the schools behaviour policies.

We are looking for resilient individuals who are able to use their initiative to respond to all situations appropriately. Knowledge of Safeguarding is essential and previous experience of working in a secondary school setting is desirable. We also welcome applications from individuals who have experience working with secondary aged students in an educational setting e.g. Youth Work, Sports Coaching etc.

The successful candidate will join a popular and vibrant multi-cultural secondary school located in the heart of the city centre. The school offers a rich and varied curriculum for all students and has state of the art facilities with a brand new purpose built building. Due to it’s inner city location, the school welcomes students from a variety of background and cultures making it an inclusive learning environment for all.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
