Cover Supervisor
Secondary
Huddersfield
We are currently working with a number of Huddersfield Secondary schools who are looking for Cover Supervisors for day to day cover. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to expand their experience working in different settings, to hone classroom and behaviour management skills, and due to the high demand, obtain a steady income.
Your new role:
You will be going in to the aforementioned schools in Huddersfield as a Cover Supervisor, potentially at short notice, to provide cover across a wide range of school subjects.
You will be delivering pre-planned lessons to students in key stages 3 and 4.
As the lessons are pre-planned, you will not need to have the same subject specialism as the lessons you will be covering.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to be a resilient and versatile Cover Supervisor, able to turn your hand to any subject that might be timetabled on any given day.
You will also need to have strong behaviour management, as there may be some challenging classes during your placement(s).
You will need experience of leading with groups of people of 10 or more within the last two years - aged under 18, ideally degree educated but not essential.
What you’ll get in return:
In addition to the competitive weekly pay, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of schools, and be working with experienced practitioners, as well as talented young minds.
Additionally, the teaching experience will be a great boost to anyone who is looking to qualify as a secondary teacher.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you then please follow the link below and Apply today. For further information please contact Jenna on 0113 2240232 or email jenna.hall@teachingpersonnel.com
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
