Cover Supervisor

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: York

Daily Rate: £60 - £70

Are you confident, seeking a new challenge and available full time? Have you considered working across secondary schools in York? If so, Teaching Personnel are recruiting Cover Supervisors to act in place of class teachers who are absent.

Absenteeism may be due to sickness, maternity or training etc. You could therefore be required to cover day-to-day, short-term or long term supply bookings. Each lesson will have already been planned and left. Your main role will therefore be to deliver the material and ensure all work is completed and handed in at the end of the lesson. You also won't be required to mark.

To be successful within this cover position you must have:

• A degree with a 2:2 classification or higher
• At least C grade in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent)
• Ability to work across different secondary schools in Hull

It is desired that you have:

• Experience working/volunteering within the education sector
• Full-time availability
• A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
