Job description

Are you an inspired and motivated person who is willing to develop their experience in the education sector? Do you have extensive background working as a Cover Supervisor in Secondary Schools across Greater Manchester/Cheshire? Are your passions centred around promoting a healthy learning environment for pupils aged 11-16?


If so, Teaching Personnel are working with a reputable Secondary Schools based around Warrington who are looking for a full time Cover Supervisor for immediate or September 2024 start!


Responsibilities:


⦁ Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour.
⦁ Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
⦁ Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
⦁ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
⦁ Help students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.
⦁ Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.


Qualifications/Requirements:
⦁ Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential
⦁ Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
⦁ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
⦁ Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
