Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in a mixture of secondary schools across South Sheffield and Chesterfield. Ages of pupils range from 11-16 through KS3-4 with the sizes of classes anywhere between 16-30 pupils. We work with Independent Schools, Large Multi Academy Trusts, and schools under the Local Authority. Every working day with us could be very different.

This role is excellent for someone wanting to increase their experience within the classroom and is aspiring to become a teacher. This role requires:

• School based experience,
• Maths and English at grade C/Level 4
• ideally you will hold a degree
• be in your final year of studying.

Your role as the cover supervisor:

• Manage the classroom

• Ensure that all students remain on task and are focused throughout

• Cover lessons as well as specific subject lessons

• Having good time management and flexibility

Key Skills for this position:

• Confident classroom presence required

• Engaged & motivated personality

• Positive can-do attitude

• Comfortable challenging students behaviour
