Do you hold previous teaching experience in secondary schools are would like to gain regular cover supervisor work in the Rochdale and Oldham area? Are you looking to expand your classroom experience prior to beginning your PGCE?
If so,
A number of our client secondary schools in the Oldham and Rochdale area currently have a high demand for cover supervisors for regular cover work. This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced cover supervisors or confident graduates looking for regular work in a number of high achieving schools.
Within this role you will hold a number of responsibilities;
*Ensure that pupils complete pre-set work
*Keep pupils on task and manage behaviour
*Have the opportunity to gain experience teaching cross-circular
As a cover supervisor you will need to be a confident and flexible individual who holds strong behaviour management skills. This is a great opportunity for any fully qualified teachers to gain regular cover work in a range of schools whereby you will hold fewer responsibilities than a permanent member of staff.
You will ideally have your own transport and be flexible in terms of your availability in the mornings work daily work. The ideal candidate will have full availability and will be on call to help cover absence, CPD courses and trips. Continuity is extremely important and building relationships with Schools who use supply regularly will ensure you have frequent work moving forward. If you are a newly qualified or highly experienced teacher looking for responsibility, this could be the ideal role for you. Graduates are also considered, however you must have some experience working in a classroom or with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
