Ofsted Good and Outstanding schools are looking for people to support them in the event of teacher absence. This is a highly flexible role suited to people who are considering a career in teaching and wanting to gain experience in the classroom.
- Cover Supervisor role starting as soon as possible
- Flexible working schedule (set your availability online)
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month
- Supporting secondary schools across North Manchester
The role of a Cover Supervisor is essential to ensure that the education of young people in and around the North Manchester area is delivered seamlessly and uninterrupted.
Successful candidates would be responsible for delivering pre-set work in line with school policy to classes, usually of 20-30 pupils, in the event that the regular class teacher is unavailable for any reason.
This is a role where every day can be different, so the ideal candidate should be someone who is both adaptable and resilient. Cover Supervisors in secondary schools are in a position of influence with young people, so prospective candidates must be professional and consistent, and ideally have a good sense of humour.
The role would be well suited to recent graduates considering a career in teaching, or teachers looking for a change of pace or new challenge.
