Cover Supervisors | Future Teachers - PGCE Applicants - Graduates
Are you looking to get into teaching? Do you want to get experience of working with students but are unsure where to start?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible basis at a client school local to Maldon.
Schools are increasingly relying on more Cover Supervisors as a way to cover the teacher's absence. The role of a cover supervisor is to supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of a class teacher. As a Cover Supervisor you will ensure pre-prepared class work is complete and to manage students behaviour in accordance with school guidelines.
Highlights of this Cover Supervisor post;
- Pay ranging from GBP300 - GBP350 per week, paid via PAYE
- Regular, flexible work available
- Work within our client Secondary School in the Maldon area where you can boost your teaching skills
- Platform to enhance your career further in education and gain valuable experiences.
- Ongoing training courses, CPD opportunities
We are keen to hear from graduate calibre candidates or candidates with behavioural management experience with a keen interest in working within Secondary Schools. You must be confident of your abilities within a classroom based environment and have the ability to build relationships with pupils and the other staff members. Some of our schools can be difficult to reach via public transport so Cover Supervisors who have access to their own transport are preferable!
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
