Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: South East England, Hampshire, Lymington

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Job Duties:

• Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
• Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
• Maintaining a positive learning environment for students
• Managing student behaviour and ensuring classroom discipline
• Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed
• Reporting back on student progress to the regular teacher

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Experience working with children or young people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Education:

• A Levels (or equivalent) preferred

Experience:

• Prior experience in a school or educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of classroom management techniques
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Basic knowledge of the UK education system

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, typically during school hours
• Work is based in a school setting
• May involve some level of physical activity and standing for extended periods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
