We provide flexible working to allow you to control your own diary and the ability to choose which placements you accept.
Job Duties:
- Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
- Implementing pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task
- Supporting students with their learning and providing assistance when needed
- Maintaining a positive learning environment
- Managing student behaviour effectively
- Working with students across KS3/KS4
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Education:
Previous experience working in a classroom setting
Experience:
Experience in behaviour management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong behaviour management required
- Confident and proactive approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Driving License is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification
Subject specialism (Degree onwards)
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. Flexibility in working hours may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
