We provide flexible working to allow you to control your own diary and the ability to choose which placements you accept. 

Job Duties:

  • Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implementing pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task
  • Supporting students with their learning and providing assistance when needed
  • Maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Managing student behaviour effectively
  • Working with students across KS3/KS4

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Education:

Previous experience working in a classroom setting

Experience:

Experience in behaviour management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong behaviour management required
  • Confident and proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Driving License is preferred 

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant qualification

Subject specialism (Degree onwards)

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. Flexibility in working hours may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
