Job description

Are you a confident, adaptable, and experienced Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity? A thriving secondary school in Heywood is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team and support our students’ learning journey.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students stay engaged and on task.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role

  • Confident in managing a classroom and maintaining discipline

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
