Cover Supervisors needed – Falmouth

• Work in secondary schools around Falmouth, Truro, Redruth and Camborne
• Full time and Part time roles available – day to day supply and longer term cover

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools in this area, who are looking for adaptable Cover Supervisors, to help teach on a day to day and long term basis. We also have potentially permanent contracts available for the right candidate and is subject to school’s needs.

The schools have asked that all candidates applying have a relevant qualification to do this role, however this doesn’t need to be with QTS. They are looking for people with previous teaching experience, particularly in secondary core subjects as this is currently where the biggest need is, however if you have a different specialism, please still apply as there are a number of roles being recruited for.

This role of a cover supervisor will involve covering lessons in the absence of teachers and working with the schools cover team. The work will be set so it is more about classroom and behaviour management than being knowledgeable on a variety of different subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
