Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors who are searching for day-to-day, short-term or long-term supply work in September.

The successful applicants will be placed in a Secondary school in Newport or Torfaen.
What does a Cover Supervisor do?
A Cover Supervisor does not teach and does not have to a subject expert.
Working as a Cover Supervisor you will be required to deliver the work that is set by the class teacher, by following lesson plans and ensuring behaviour and lesson disruption is at a minimum.
You will be expected to manage the students behaviour and ensure all students are engaged and focused in the absence of the teacher.
As a Cover Supervisor you must possess good communication skills and be able to build rapport with students quickly.
You will be able to work full time or part time with roles ranging from daily bookings to long term assignments.
The daily pay rate for a Cover Supervisor is between GBP65 - GBP80 per day (depending on your experience).
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree or equivalence in any subject
- Be flexible, day to day supply bookings aren’t always pre-booked due to unexpected absence
- Be creative, passionate and inspirational
- Be confident and able to deliver lessons that will keep the pupils engaged
- Confident to differentiate lessons to accommodate all needs
